Welcome…
Are you seeking to make changes in your professional or personal life? Or perhaps you are challenged in how to navigate your relationships with family, friends, or especially—the most important one—yourself. Therapy can help!
My therapeutic approach is based on developing a collaborative and trusting relationship with my clients. I am interested in working with individuals who are motivated to make meaningful changes in their life. My approach is compassionate, curious, and respectful of each individual’s unique journey.

I am a psychotherapist, LICSW NH #1674. I have been in practice for 12+ years and work with adults 18 years old or older. I am currently accepting new patients starting in the fall of 2023, with the option of working in person or virtually (via Zoom or videoconference). My office is in Portsmouth, NH. I do not accept insurance. See more information about my fees below.
I work in two ways:
Traditional Talk Therapy: This approach relies on a psychodynamic and relational frame and requires frequent visits over an extended period of time. It may include using present difficulties to access and process early childhood experiences. It may take time to identify and develop an awareness of what is causing distress or difficulty, develop understanding, and make changes. This type of therapy can only happen once the therapist and client have developed a trusting relationship. If a virtual appointment is scheduled, it is essential that you arrange to meet in a quiet, confidential location with stable internet.
Consultation: I also see people who are grappling with an issue, or issues, that can be resolved relatively quickly, without going into the complexity of the past. The structure of meeting with someone over a short period of time to clarify and implement changes can be beneficial for some individuals. Learn More…
